Actor Shakti Kumar, who was recently seen "Jai Gangaajal", is turning producer with the issue-based serial 'Na Hausla Harenge Hum'.

"Whatever negativity is there in your life, whether it is child abuse or rape or sex trafficking, a person should never lose hope and have a positive approach and begin his life again. So it is the stories of such women who have faced such setbacks in their life," Kumar said at the launch of the show here.

Kumar has acted in important roles in popular films such as 'Jai Gangaajal', 'Mary Kom', 'Raja Natwarlal' among others.

The show will be telecast on Doordarshan National and will be aired on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The curtain raiser for the show is on Friday, June 17, followed by other episodes.

Every story is divided into three episodes that will play over the weekend.

About the difference with other crime-based serials such as 'Crime Patrol' and 'Savdhan India', Kumar said, "There is a big difference between 'Savdhan India', 'Crime Patrol' and my show. We have added the success stories. What happened with her, but after that it is her success story, an inspiring story and you are not going to get into the negativity, you will go positive."

Actress Shraddha Singh, will be the anchor on the show.

Shraddha said, "After watching the success stories the women will get courage and a feeling that she can even handle social evils and yet achieve success. It is a good experience that being a woman to talk about women empowerment, and fulfil the responsibility of being a responsible citizen. I have played different types of characters but I never got such an opportunity. An anchor is the link between the story and the audience. So I am really happy that I can convey such sensitive issues to the audience."
