Adrien Brody to play Harry Houdini
Actor Adrien Brody has taken on a small screen role as master magician Harry Houdini in a new mini-series.
The 40-year-old will star in the new project for History Channel, reports contactmusic.com.
It will focus on how Houdini overcame an impoverished background to become an international sensation, famed for escaping from handcuffs and straitjackets under water.
Actress Kristen Connolly will play Houdini's wife Bess in the four-part series.
