Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan, who is currently shooting in Kerala for Tamil thriller "Papanasama, said Thursday that he wasn't injured while shooting as being speculated and "all is well" with him.
"Before various new ailments are endowed upon me, I hasten to clarify that all is well. It is not true that I was injured while shooting," Haasan said in a statement.
"It was a makeup rubber prosthetic that slipped into my nasal passage and had to be carefully removed under medical supervision. It was a stunt scene so I had simulated injuries on the face," he said.
The rumour circulated after Kamal was rushed to a hospital "with a bruised face (and that) led to the interpolated news. I am alright."
Directed by Jeethu Joseph, "Papanasam" is the Tamil remake of Malayalam blockbuster "Drishyam".
