Actress Amanda Seyfried will make her comeback on television with the revival of popular serial drama "Twin Peaks".
The 29-year-old will play a major role on the continuation of the 1990s series, but details of her characters are still kept under wraps, reports aceshowbiz.com.
As per reports, the "Ted 2" star has been booked for multiple episodes. It marks her biggest TV gig since she appeared in 44 episodes of "Big Love".
The new "Twin Peaks" series will consist of 18 episodes which all are written by co-creators David Lynch and Mark Frost. Lynch is also directing all episodes. Filming is currently underway in Washington state with original cast members Kyle MacLachlan, Sheryl Lee, Dana Ashbook and Sherilyn Fenn returning to reprise their roles.
The revival is set in the present day and is promised to "continue the lore of the original series." No premiere date is announced for the new series yet.
