NorthEast United coach Cesar Farias said he had done his homework on Atletico de Kolkata by analyzing videos which gave him insights to use during the game.
"They (ATK) are a strong team. They sometime repeat their sequence so I watched their videos and analysed their strengths and weaknesses," Farias told media persons after his team beat Atletico 1-0 in an Indian Super League (ISL) encounter here on Saturday. This is the second time United have beaten the hosts this season.
Asked about the controversial penalty which was awarded to his side, Farias said:" There was a push, you could see it. It is normal for ATK coach Habas (who said it was a wrong decision) to think that way but it is not what Farias thinks or Habas think, it is upto the referee."
"Six points against them is not a gift. They are a strong side and they fought hard, but we caught them by surprise," he said.
On having gained momentum in the last few matches, the Venezuelan added: "It doesnot matter how you start, what matters is the finish."
