Composer Anup Rubens is said to have joined the team of the sequel to Pawan Kalyan-starrer 2001 Telugu romantic-drama "Kushi", which will be directed by S.J. Suryah.
The pre-production work on the film has been going on for the last few months.
On Sunday, when lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry shared an image featuring director Suryah and Anup Rubens on his Facebook page, it piqued the curiosity of the fans.
Along with the image, which also features writer Akula Siva, he wrote: "Absolute 'khushee' working with SJ Suryah garu n Anup darling".
The project is slated to go on the floors later this year.
Suryah had also directed "Kushi", which was later remade in Hindi with actor Fardeen Khan.
Pawan Kalyan is currently busy wrapping up "Sardaar Gabbar Singh", a sequel to his blockbuster film "Gabbar Singh".
