"Premam" fame Anupama Parameswaran has replaced Shamlee in Dhanush-starrer Tamil political thriller "Kodi", which is currently on the floors.
"Shamlee exited the project due to some date issues. The makers have brought Anupama as her replacement and she's expected to join the sets next week," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
Although Shamlee briefly shot for her portion in the film's first schedule, she could not join later as she had already committed to two other projects.
Directed by Durai Senthil Kumar, the film also stars Trisha Krishnan, who will be playing a character with grey shades for the first time in her career.
Dhanush essays dual roles in the upcoming film, which he has produced under his home banner Wunderbar Films.
