Army Chief General Bipin Rawat on Friday said the need of the hour is to equip the armed forces with the latest technology.
The General told the media that there was no shortage of weapons with the Army.
Talking about the Army's preparedness to tackle the challenges from Pakistan and China, he said his men were prepared to meet any situation.
After a visit to the Kashi Vishwanath temple here, Rawat said he prayed to Lord Shiva for the well-being, safety and success of the soldiers. The Army chief was accompanied by his his wife and other family members.
