Army porters slips to death
An Army porter on Wednesday fell to death from a mountainous road in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district.
Police said the porter, Ghulam Muhammad Kasana of Quilmuqam village, slipped from the Bandipora-Gurez road into a deep gorge. "He died instantaneously," said a police officer.
The Army employs locals to carry loads to the mountainous pickets on the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.
