Costa Rica forward Joel Campbell joined Serie A Frosinone Calcio on a transfer from English Premier League Arsenal, both teams announced on Friday.
Campbell, who joined the Gunners in 2011, signed a contract that links him with the recently promoted Frosinone Calcio until June 30, 2021, reports Efe.
"Joel Campbell has joined Serie A side Frosinone Calcio on a permanent transfer," Arsenal said in a statement.
The 26-year-old Campbell made 40 appearances with the Gunners and played on loan at many clubs, including Olympiacos, Villarreal and Real Betis.
"We would like to thank Joel for his contribution to the club and wish him well for the future," the Premier League club said.
