Filmmaker and social activist Ashoke Pandit has started shooting for his short film titled 'Note Down' based on demonetisation.

Pandit on Monday morning announced the news on Twitter.

"Shooting of my short film titled 'Note Down' on demonetisation begins today," Pandit tweeted.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi last month announced the scraping of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes to curb black money in the country.

Details about the short film is still under wraps.
