Australia on Tuesday replaced injured fast bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile with fellow pacer Scott Boland in their squad for the second cricket Test against the West Indies starting here on Boxing Day.
The 26-year-old Victorian paceman Boland has been drafted into the squad following the injury to Coulter-Nile in Monday night's Big Bash League game between the Perth Scorchers and Adelaide Strikers in Perth, according to a release from Cricket Australia (CA).
CA physiotherapist David Beakley said: "The Scorchers medical team confirmed that Nathan dislocated his right shoulder while fielding last night.
"Although the extent of the injury and rehabilitation period will not be fully known until we receive the results of scans later today, we can confirm that Nathan will not be available for the Boxing Day Test."
