Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic has been named the best footballer in Serbia in 2015, while Veljko Paunovic, coach of the Under-20 team of the Balkan country that won the World Cup, was named the best coach.
The Serbian FA also on Tuesday announced that the country's U-20 team received a special recognition for winning the World Cup that was held last June in New Zealand, reports Efe.
Following the tournament, Paunovic resigned from his post and travelled to the United States to coach Chicago Fire.
As for Matic, who won the English Premier League (EPL) with Chelsea, and one of Serbia's essential players, was named the best in his country for the second year in a row.
