Mark Harris, author of "Five Came Back", which has been turned into a documentary web series, was thrilled to have Oscar-winning actress Meryl Streep narrate it.
"She was my first choice because I think that she brings a warmth, authority, humanity, clarity, and an empathy to what she does," Harris said, reported pagesix.com.
"I was excited by the idea of a woman narrating this documentary because that does not often happen. I was thrilled when she said yes. She captured my heart. It was like, 'Please say my words. You are the one.'"
