Singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne's ex-husband, musician and producer Deryck Whibley had started using her last name when they were together. But now, he has dropped the last name, Lavigne.
Whibley adopted her last name as one of his middle names after they tied the knot in 2006. The 33-year-old filed to go back to his birth name in County Court here recently, reports tmz.com.
The duo got divorced in 2010. Avril is now married to Canadian singer-songwriter Chad Kroeger.
