Delhi Lt. Governor Anil Baijal on Saturday asked officials to expedite the completion of the much-delayed Rani Jhansi Road grade separator aimed at easing traffic congestion.
The 1.6 km elevated corridor will link Tis Hazari courts in north Delhi with Filmistan Cinema in central Delhi.
Baijal, who held a meeting with all stakeholders, inquired about the bottlenecks due to which the project has seen a huge delay and directed all concerned to take action in a time bound manner and work within strict time line, a Raj Nivas media statement said.
He also inspected a multilevel automatic car parking system at Kamla Nagar, and directed for its optimum utilisation.
The officials concerned assured Baijal of completion of the projects by October.
