Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm has wished the best for the future to departed chief coach Pep Guardiola, who will be joining Manchester City in the next football season.
Guardiola's three-year stint at Bayern ended earlier this month, which saw them winning both the Bundesliga and German Cup titles.
"These three years have been very successful and it was an honour working with you. We wish you all the best, Pep!," Lahm wrote on Twitter on Saturday.
The former Barcelona coach will guide English Premier League (EPL) giants City after signing a three-year contract.
He has guided Bayern to three consecutive Bundesliga titles, along with two German Cup titles. However, many Bayern fans believe the Spanish coach's tenure was a failure because of his inability to win the European Champions League title.
