Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, who started his new project "Calendar Girls" with five new faces in July, has completed fifty percent of its shooting.
"#CalendarGirls reaches the halfway mark today! 50 percent shooting complete and going strong," Bhandarkar posted on Twitter Wednesday.
He also felt a sense of deja vu.
"In 2004, I was shooting #Page 3 with a cast of newcomers. Exactly 10 years later, am shooting #CalendarGirls, again with newcomers. Deja Vu," added the National Award winner, who had earlier said that his endeavour with "Calendar Girls" is to offer purposeful entertainment to film aficionados.
Bhandarkar, who has helmed films like "Fashion" and "Corporate", last directed the 2012 movie "Heroine" featuring Kareena Kapoor.
