Actress Bhumi Pednekar of "Dum Laga ke Haisha" will walk the ramp for designer Charu Parashar during Asian Designer Week (ADW) on October 29 here. This is also going to be the actress' first appearance on the ramp, and she's excited.
iGenius Entertainment, the brand owner of the fashion event, announced the list of designers for the first season of ADW powered by FTV - Fashion Crosses Borders on Friday.
"Charu is a friend and I'm here to support her. I am really excited about being her showstopper. Charu's collection is a fresh take on bridal couture for the modern day brides and girls who prefer a minimalistic yet elegant wedding trousseau. I am looking forward to this show in Delhi," the actress said in a statement.
The two-day ADW will be opened on October 28 with a showcase by Abhi Singh, and will also see creations by German designer Larisa Katz. Day two will also see participation by Lida O'Reilly from Mauritius, while Parashar is the grand finale designer.
The shows will be held at Hotel Golden Tulip, Chattarpur here.
