Welcoming Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's Budget, CII-Goa chairperson Atreya Sawant on Thursday said that the Budget would promote job creation and infrastructure.
"The Budget promotes jobs creation, infrastructure, and focuses comprehensively on health, women, senior citizens, MSME and cashews sector," Sawant said.
Sawant also said, that the National Health Protection Scheme would be of great help to over 10 crore Indians, while new schemes for the agriculture sector would "help the farmers to make more money vis-a-vis the concept of consumption".
"In Goa's perspective, the cashew and fisheries incentives in the budget would bring in progressive change," Sawant also said.
