A three-year-old child fell into a 100-foot deep borewell on Sunday in a field Madhya Pradesh's Morena district. In the rescue effort being carried out, the army's help has been sought, a police official said.
Raghav, son of villager Devendra Sharma, had gone to the fields in Nand Gangoli village along with his grandmother where he fell into the borewell while playing.
Morena district Superintendent of Police Vineet Khanna told IANS that police and revenue depatment teams have reached the spot and rescue operation has been launched. The army has been contacted for help.
