Chinese discus thrower Li Yanfeng will receive the 2012 Olympic silver medal that was stripped from Russian Darya Pishchalnikova for doping.
The Chinese Olympic Committee said a special ceremony will be held in the near future to present Li the medal, reports Xinhua.
Li, 36, finished third at the London Games with Sandra Perkovic of Croatia taking the gold and Russia's Darya taking the silver medal.
But Li has been upgraded after Darya was banned for 10 years in 2013 for testing positive for the anabolic steroid oxandrolone in May 2012.
