Chinese weightlifter Wang Shuai captured the overall crown in the women's 58kg category on the final day of the 2013 IWF Grand Prix International Baku Cup.
Wang, who had never before registered an international competition result, Saturday vied against Romanian Loredana Elena Toma, who was the first winner of the day with a gold medal in 96kg snatch, reports Xinhua.
In clean and jerk, Wang managed to lift 118kg for a winning total of 212kg, beating Toma to the silver on 211kg while Ukraine's Yuliya Kalina took the bronze medal.
Some 70 athletes from 23 countries participated in the IWF Grand Prix and second Baku International Cup that started Dec 5.
