Vatican City, Oct 23 (IANS/AKI) Jesus Christ renounces riches to save humankind and his face can be seen in the poor, Pope Francis has said.
"In the poor, we see the face of Christ who for our sake became poor," Francis said in a Tweet on Thursday from his @Pontifex account.
The Argentinian pontiff has over 22 million followers on the microblogging website Twitter.
His @Pontifex account is published in nine languages.
