Kingston (Jamaica), June 23 (IANS/CMC) Successful high school track and field coach Michael Clarke has been named head coach of Jamaica's athletics team for the IAAF World Championships in Moscow, Russia, Aug 10-18.
Clarke is a long-time coach at Calabar High where he has won four national titles including the 2013 Boys' Championships, reports CMC.
He has also served as coach for a number of travelling teams to the Olympic Games and World Championships.
Clarke replaces Maurice Wilson, who is reportedly unavailable due to personal reasons.
