It was cloudy morning here on Thursday with the minimum temperature recorded at 25.2 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average.
"The morning will remain generally cloudy, light to moderate rains are expected in some areas," said an Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) official.
The maximum temperature for the day was likely to hover around 31 degrees Celsius.
The rainfall recorded till 8:30 a.m. was 63.5 mm, while humidity recorded was 90 per cent.
The maximum temperature recorded for Wednesday was 29.5 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season's average.
