Director A. Venkatesh says comedy is an inevitable part of all his films irrespective of their genre because he believes it's the secret to produce a wholesome entertainer for the masses.
Known for films such as "Bagavathi", "Duma" and "Sandamarutham", Venkatesh is trying his hands at full-length comedy with upcoming film "Romba Nallavan Da Nee".
"My love for comedy is immeasurable. According to me, my films have to be sure shot entertainers. Hence, comedy becomes an inevitable part. I think that's the secret to appeal to the masses," Venkatesh told IANS.
"My films usually are a mix of action, comedy and romance. It's for the first time I've tried my hands at a full-length comedy film and the experience has been enriching," he said.
"Romba Nallavan Da Nee", a comedy-thriller, revolves around two strangers and what happens when their lives cross paths.
The film features Senthil, Sruthy Bala and Robo Shankar in important roles.
