US comedian Bill Cosby's star on the Walk of Fame has been vandalised, with the word "rapist" repeatedly written on it in black ink.
The incidence was noticed Friday morning, reports eonline.com.
"The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an institution celebrating the positive contributions of the inductees. When people are unhappy with one of our honorees, we would hope that they would project their anger in more positive ways then to vandalize a California State landmark.
"The star is being cleaned up at this time," the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce said in a statement with regards to the vandalisation.
Cosby has been accused by several women of alleged sexual assault charges. Most recently, at a press conference here, five women made public cases of alleged sexual assault that took place during the 1970s and 1980s.
