The Delhi High Court Friday reserved its order on the bail plea of former Bharatiya Janata Party legislator Vinod Sharma, who, along with others, is facing trial for allegedly killing his brother-in-law and criminal lawyer R.K. Naseem.
A bench of Justice Sunita Gupta reserved the order after the lawyers appearing for Delhi Police's Crime Branch and Sharma concluded their arguments.
Sharma, along with his son Amit and their employees, allegedly attacked Naseem, who was the defence lawyer in prominent cases like Uphaar fire case, Jessica Lall murder, Priyadarshini Mattoo rape and murder and Shivani Bhatnagar murder case, on Jan 24, 2010 following property disputes.
Nassem died of injuries at a private hospital here on Feb 8, 2010.
Sharma is in jail since 2010.
