A CRPF officer was killed Friday in a Maoist attack in
Bihar's Jamui district, police said.
Deputy commandant of CRPF's seventh battalion H.N. Jha was killed in the attack. "Jha died on the spot after bullet hit his head," district police officer Ram Nath Tiwari said.
The attack took place near Khaira forest in Jamui when a team of Central Reserve
Police Force (CRPF) troopers was patrolling the area.
The CRPF team arrested four Maoist guerrillas including a woman after the incident and seized arms and ammunition.
