Daisy Lowe lands acting role

British model Daisy Lowe is embarking on a movie career.

Daughter of Bush rocker Gavin Rossdale, who appeared in a number of music videos and commercials, has landed a role in a big-budget movie, reports contactmusic.com.

She told Britain's Daily Mirror: "It's really exciting. It's a British film with some really amazing people in it. It's my first part in a big production and it's set in the 17th century."
