"Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe was mobbed by his teen fans here as he attended the Venice Film Festival.
The 24-year-old was here Monday to promote his upcoming movie "Kill Your Darlings", reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Radcliffe had to be surrounded by a team of bodyguards and police as he was guided into the venue to conduct a press conference, but the media chat was disrupted as fans thumped on the walls and rattled the windows.
The actor was overwhelmed with the response he got from his fans.
"Thankfully, it's not always like this. I've been dealing with it in various ways since I was 11. I don't take it seriously, actually I think it's funny," he told reporters here.
Radcliffe starred as the boy wizard in the hugely popular "Harry Potter" film franchise, based on author J.K. Rowling's fictional writings.
