The Congress on Tuesday expressed happiness over the floor test in the Uttarakhand assembly and said irrespective of who wins, it will be "a great win" for the country's democracy, people of the state and the constitution.
Congress spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi told the media here that the BJP toppled the duly elected government in Uttarakhand showing "arrogance of power".
"If we (Congress) win, it would be a big win, and questions will necessarily be asked if it was arrogance of power, or was it (done) to divert attention from misgovernance," he said.
The Congress leader also appreciated the country's judiciary, saying it has set an example through the case.
The result of the floor test will be officially known on Wednesday, though all indications are that the Congress has won.
