Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung has called Aam Admi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal to discuss government formation Saturday, party sources said.

The invitation came after the Bharatiya Janata Party declined the offer to form the government and said it will sit in the opposition.

BJP's chief ministerial candidate Harsh Vardhan met Jung Thursday and told him that his party would sit in the opposition as it has no clear majority in the 70-member house.

The BJP is single largest party with 31 seats followed by 28 of AAP and Congress at just 8.

AAP has maintained it will neither support nor take support from any party.
