France football team head coach Didier Deschamps has admitted that the absence of Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane due to injury is a big blow ahead of the Euro 2016 starting here on June 10.

As he leads his national side's camp just outside Paris, Deschamps on Wednesday said that France should not reassess their ambitions and must work to get as far as possible, reports Efe.

Varane, who is suffering from a left leg muscle injury, was ruled out of the Euro on Tuesday by the French Football Federation.
