Development mission for India's holy cities

A new urban development mission for development of holy cities including those in Maharashtra is being considered, Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu said Wednesday.

"New urban development mission is being considered for integrated development of cities including holy cities in the country and the cities of Maharashtra," Naidu said in a written reply in the Lok Sabha.

He, however, added that the details are yet to be finalised.
