Indian-American actress Devika Bhise, who won accolades for her debut film "The Man Who Knew Infinity" is happy after signing her next "intriguing" Hollywood film "Shambhala", which also stars "Mission: Impossible III" actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers.
The actress says though she can't reveal much about her character, she is sure that it will leave an impact on audience's mind winning their love and appreciation.
"I am really looking forward to working on 'Shambhala' with director Summer Nick with whom I have been in dialogue with for the past one year. I'm also excited to work with Jonathan in the film and with Xeitgeist Entertainment Group.
"The story of this film is very intriguing and I can't reveal much about my character now. But I'm sure everyone will love it," Devika said in a statement.
Being directed by Nicks, an Australian writer and director, the film revolves around a man, played by Meyers, who is suffering from amnesia after a plane crash in the Himalayas.
The shooting of the film will begin on October 12. It will be shot extensively in India and Singapore.
According to variety.com, Devika will play the role of Tamara, a woman Rhys Meyers encounters in his journey. Other cast members include Australian-Indian actress Pallavi Sharda, Allan Wu, Kabir Singh and Akshay Kumar.
Born and raised in Manhattan, Devika walked in the world of showbiz with a role of wife of Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan in his biopic "The Man Who Knew Infinity". British actor of Indian origin Dev Patel played the role of Ramanujan.
