Talented attacking player Adama Diakhaby has completed a move from Ligue 1 outfit Monaco to Premier League side Huddersfield for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old signed a three-year contract on Friday running until the conclusion of the 2020-21 campaign, when Huddersfield can extend the deal by a further year, reports Xinhua news agency.
Born in in Ajaccio, France, Diakhaby has been capped four times for the national Under-21 side. He can play on either wing or in the central attacking midfield area.

He made his senior and Ligue 1 debut at Rennes early in the 2016-17 season and just waited two weeks for his first goal. He went on to make seven starts and 22 substitute appearances in his debut season, scoring five goals.
Diakhaby joined Monaco before the 2017-18 campaign, grabbed three goals and three assists in 15 starts and 15 substitute appearances as Monaco finished runner-up in both the league and domestic cup.
"He is a very hungry young footballer with a strong desire to succeed in England, which is fantastic for our club," said Huddersfield head coach David Wagner about the team's new recruit.
"Obviously he is still learning and improving at 22 years old, but he already has many of the qualities that we look for in our attacking players. He's a direct player who is comfortable with the ball at his feet and with genuine pace, which suits our style perfectly," added Wagner.
Having completed his medical early this week, Diakhaby has joined up with his new teammates in Frankfurt, Germany on Friday for the rest of the camp.
