The DMK has allotted one seat to the new political party Samuga Samathuva Padai (SSP) floated by former IAS officer P.Sivakami, a statement said on Tuesday.
A joint statement issued by DMK leader M.Karunanidhi and SSP leader Sivakami said it was jointly agreed that SSP will contest from one constituency in the ensuing assembly polls and under the DMK's election symbol of the rising sun.
With this, DMK has concluded seat sharing arrangement with three parties.
The DMK had earlier allotted five seats each to two Muslim parties - MMK and the Indian Union Muslim League.
