Actress Emily Blunt, who is playing an FBI agent in her upcoming film "Sicario", trimmed down her maternity leave to be a part of the film.
Blunt, who welcomed daughter Hazel with husband John Krasinski last year, said she couldn't resist to work on the movie after hearing the script.
"It definitely wasn't what I was planning. I wasn't intending on working on something that soon but Sicario was such an extraordinary script. I'd said that I didn't want to work until August and this started in July, so what are you going to do? I couldn't let that opportunity go to someone else, as much as it felt too soon," Blunt was quoted as saying by belfasttelegraph.co.uk.
The film, which is directed by Denis Villeneuve, revolves around the lawless area between US and Mexico where an idealistic FBI agent is enlisted by a government task force to help in the rising war against drugs.
After being an official selection at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, this film is set to release in India in October 9 by PVR Pictures.
