Emraan Hashmi turns invisible in 'Mr X' trailer

The first trailer of Emraan Hashmi's upcoming 3D thriller "Mr X" sees the actor taking on the role of an invisible cop named Raghuram Rathod, who takes revenge from people who did wrong to him.

Directed by Vikram Bhatt, the story of the film revolves around Raghuram, who is forced to become a vigilante and gets entangled into a treacherous scheme. He is left to die in a chemical factory by people who blow it up with the intention to kill him. However, the chemicals in the factory cause a reaction that turns him invisible and this unique quality allows him to take revenge from his killers.

Emraan, who has previously starred in films like "Murder", "Gangster", "Jannat" and "The Dirty Picture" has received a positive response for the trailer.

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt also took to Twitter to say 'hello' to the film.

"Say hello to Mr Invisible! Trailer of #MrX http://youtu.be/5nCicl_EFnE is out!!! @foxstarhindi," he wrote.

Produced by Vishesh Films, "Mr X" also stars Amyra Dastur, Arunoday Singh and Nora Fatehi. It will hit screens on April 17.
