England 51/2, trail by 244 at lunch

England were batting at 51/2 at lunch on Day 2 of the second Test after bowling India out for 295 at Lord's here Friday.

India added only five runs to their first innings total in the morning before last wicket Mohammed Shami got out for 19 while Ishant Sharma remained unbeaten on 12.

In reply, seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up both England openers -- captain Alastair Cook (10) and Sam Robson (17) -- when lunch was called, with the hosts trailing by 244 runs with Gary Ballance and Ian Bell at the crease batting on 7 and 11 not out.
