Southern actress Sanam Shetty, who had her first tryst with action in upcoming Tamil thriller "Kalaivendhan", says she thoroughly enjoyed the experience of performing stunts for the "first time in her career".
"There are some intense action scenes in the film and I thoroughly enjoyed doing them. These were shot in some dense forests in Madurai. What's even more exciting is that I managed to pull off the stunts without a dupe," Sanam told IANS.
Sanam will be seen playing dual roles in the film, which is directed by Parasuram.
"One of the characters I play is a traditional girl from the 1970s, while the other one is a modern-day college girl. I really liked the scope for performances both these roles had to offer," she said.
The film also features Ajay and Kalabhavan Mani in important roles.
