The Tamil-dubbed version of the sixth instalment of "Fast and Furious" series released Friday on as many as 80 screens in Tamil Nadu. This is more than the number of screens showing the English version.
"The Tamil version, also titled 'Fast and Furious 6', is releasing in about 80 screens all over Tamil Nadu, while its English version will release in about 20 screens," said a statement.
Directed by Justin Lin, the film features an ensemble cast of Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster and Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges.
The seventh instalment of the film has already been planned and it will be a sequel to the sixth. It is scheduled to release July 11, 2014.
