A court here Friday asked the AIIMS medical superintendent to file the medical records of former parliamentarian Dhananjay Singh's wife Jagriti Singh, accused in a case of maid torture.
The court was hearing Jagriti's plea for interim bail on the grounds of her "deteriorating medical condition".
Additional Sessions Judge Lokesh Kumar Sharma's direction came on the submission made by the Tihar Jail authorities that All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) officials were not forwarding Jagriti's medical reports despite the court's order.
The court directed the medical superintendent to depute any officer for submitting the medical records before it.
The court listed the matter for Oct 21 for further hearing on the interim bail application of Jagriti.
Jagriti's counsel and advocate Pramod Dubey has told that she needed to undergo gall bladder surgery due to her deteriorating medical condition.
Dhananjay, accused along with his wife in connection with the alleged murder of their maid, was charge-sheeted Feb 1 for various offences, including destroying evidence and abetting murder and attempt to murder.
