As many as five dowry cases were registered on a single day with Gurgaon police with complainants alleging harassment by in-laws, police said on Wednesday.
The complaints were filed at the Women's police station in Gurgaon's Sector 51 set up only last year.
Most of the victims complained against their husbands and parents-in-law and alleged demands for more dowry.
Police said some of few accused were being questioned but there was no arrest yet.
