Portuguese forward Christiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid and Brazilian soccer legend Pele have joined forces in the business class of Dubai-state owned carrier and official FIFA World Cup partner Emirates Airline, which was aired Saturday for the first time.
The video went viral after Emirates Airline made it public through its social media channels on Facebook and Twitter, 74 days ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil, Xinhua reported.
The winner of the FIFA Ballon d'Or 2013 Ronaldo is the carrier's newest global ambassador.
During a press conference, held in Madrid, the airline premiered its campaign video featuring the football superstar alongside Brazilian legend and fellow global ambassador for Emirates Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pele who won the FIFA World Cup three times in 1958, 1962 and 1970.
Ronaldo's current club Real Madrid is sponsored by Emirates Airline as well.
In the video, both football stars discuss during a flight aboard the Emirates Airline A380 superjumbo business class who may be the greatest player of all times, while having a drink at the business class's bar. The digital campaign encourages football fans to share their opinions via their social media accounts.
Emirates Airline has been the FIFA World Cup's partner since the World Cup 2006 in Germany.
