Former Mohun Bagan footballer Late Dinanath Roy was on Friday remembered on his 100th birth anniversary at the Veterans' Club here.
Roy, who breathed his last in 2003 at the age of 87, used to play as a right-winger and was a member of the club's 1947 and 1948 IFA Shield winning team.
He provided the final pass on both occasions for Selim and Rashid, respectively to score the winning goals.
Former India captain Chuni Goswami, who is now the president of the veterans' club, took the initiative to organise the function where former players Bidesh Bose and Manas Bhattacharya were present.
Roy's two sons were also present along with other family members.
