At least four terrorists involved in the attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team in 2009 in Lahore were killed by security forces on Sunday.
Zubair, Abdul Wahab, Adnan and Atique were killed while three others managed to escape when the security forces conducted a search operation near Manawan area, Geo TV reported.
According to officials, seven to eight militants began firing at the security personnel.
The officials said they were involved in the December 7, 2009 Moon market bomb blast in Lahore which killed 54 people and the attack on a visiting Sri Lankan cricket team on March 3, 2009.
Sri Lanka, which had been invited to Pakistan after India pulled out, immediately cancelled the rest of the tour.
