Four policemen, 13 IS militants killed in Afghanistan clash

At least four policemen and 13 Islamic State militants were killed on Saturday in a clash in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province, an official said.

"IS fighters attacked police headquarters in Deh Bala district, triggering a gun battle which left 13 rebels and four policemen killed," Xinhua news agency quoted an official as saying.

As many as seven militants were injured during the clash, the official said.
